      <description>&lt;![CDATA[So a little while ago, I finished up watching Part 5 of Jojo&#39;s Bizarre Adventure. With that book closed, I needed to find a new show to watch. Initially, I was going to rewatch Shin Sekai Yori, but my friend recommended we watch Neon Genesis Evangelion together. !--more--We&#39;re about 6 episodes in or so, and I&#39;ve been enjoying it. Growing up, I was never a fan of &#39;Mechimes&#39; so I dismissed the show altogether. Now that I&#39;m giving it an honest shot, I can see myself appreciating it for everything aside from the mechs: the art, music, characters, and story direction. It&#39;s also nice that it hasn&#39;t put a large amount of emphasis on the mechs yet in the series.
