So as mentioned a few days ago, I’ve been playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons on a regular basis. For the past month or so, my routine has been to dig up all fossils, buy the KK album from the Nook Shopping app, then check out the shop and tailor. Well, yesterday I finished the fossil exhibit at my museum.
Okay, so not a missed day, but shortform. I'm feeling nauseous from having to ride in the back of a car today. Motion sickness is a bit of a new feeling, relatively speaking. I tried taking my mind off it by cleaning my keyboard (it had been a while). I think I just need to get some rest to get past it.
Things are definitely different in my daily life. I haven't really seen anyone IRL for much longer than I'd like. Tasks at work have slowed down or changed dramatically. Things are starting to open back up, but I can't help but worry that it's too early.
So for the longest time I've struggled with anxiety on-and-off. It was at its worst when I was in college, but it's still not gone today. The past week has had me go through a few different facets of my anxiety and I figured I could talk into the void to get a little bit of therapy.
Hooray! Yesterday I managed to install Linux properly. Thanks to several helpful people on the Linux forums helping me get the right things installed. I've got a basic setup at the moment, but I'm very happy.
So I don't have too much to talk about today. Nothing has been on my mind beyond the sunburn. So this is just a post to hold myself accountable for the challenge. Maybe tomorrow I'll get to talk about working from home or something.
