100daystooffload

So yesterday I spent a little bit of time writing a draft for a bigger post. I have the next few days off, and I wrote down several topics to write about, so I should get a backlog together. Sorry this is more of a meta post today, but it's better than no post! Catch ya later.

So it's been about a week since I started playing Borderlands 3, and I am absolutely hooked. It's still a bit too soon for me to write up a full review, but I've been taking notes on the experience. In the meantime, I figure I could share my initial reactions.

I got to experience first hand how many people just don't wear masks when they go out, and it is terrifying. Yesterday I went to get groceries at what I thought was an 'off' time, but wound up being the busiest I've ever seen this grocery store. I'm relatively new to the group (and new to leading meetings), but I've participated enough to have a strong idea of how to make sure the meeting was effective.

Beyond budgeting and paying off student loans, another financial interest of mine has to be playing the credit card game. During my third year of college, I applied for two different cards: the Discover it and a card with my personal bank. My hope was to build credit so if I ever needed to take out a personal/home/auto loan, I would be able to get a good deal.

So I've always been a techie. Hopefully this blog has made it obvious. One of my weaknesses has been working with servers. I learned a little bit about making a WordPress blog in high school, but it just didn't come easily for me.

It's been a while since I've experienced nostalgia, maybe a few years. For the longest time, the easiest way to experience nostalgia was to listen to music my mom would always play when cleaning the house growing up:
